DSC Teachers AP Recruitment 2012 Eligibility Guidelines Government of Andhra Pradesh is also gearing up to drive large-scale DSC teacher recruitment in 2012, the Minister of Secondary Education, K Parthasarathi. Announced that the alert order DSC 2012 will be issued immediately after the test, the teacher (TET) in January 2012 Second TET in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled to be held on January 8, 2012 who qualify. TET will be considered by the Committee of the DSC.The Government of Andhra Pradesh is contemplating to issue DSC notification by the end of January 2012. Last DSC Examination wa conducted in 2009 by filling morethan 50000 teacher posts. This was so far the single largest ever recruitment drive in AP. This time the Govt is planning to fill about 30000 teacher posts apart from 10000 posts exclusively meant for English Medium Schools. Thousands of teacher posts are available in various categories such as SGT (Secondary Grade Teachers), School Assistants, and some vacancies under Rajiv Vidya Mission (RVM), Aadarsh Schools and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA). Following are details proposed vacancies, selection and application procedure:

1) School Assistants under Rashtriya Madhyamika Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA): 11000 posts
2) Vacancies in State Govt. Schools: 11139 posts. Division of these posts is given below:
3) School Assistants (SA): 2284 (General- 2057, Agency- 227)
4) Language Pundits -2: 1304 posts (General- 1106, Agency- 198)
5) SGT (Secondary Grade Teachers): 7208 posts (General - 5950, Agency- 1258 posts)

Besides these vacancies, there will be more than 25000 SGT posts under Right to Education Act at the state level. All these vacancies falls under School Assistants (SAs) category. This could be a great chance for D.Ed. qualified candidates as they will get more posts in SGTs. The Government of Andhra Pradesh is also planning to recruit Physical Education Teachers (PET) and Language Pundits to fill vacancies in concerned departments of the schools. On the other hand, the State Teachers Association is pressing for priority for in-service candidates in the recruitment of 7100 teachers posts for Aadarsh Schools.
